Yep, still a bit ill so nothing much happening.
I was playing about with my self inflating ground sheet thing forcamping last night. It was apparently supposed to self inflate but it
wasn’t really doing it. So after a little while of rolling it,
deflating it, rolling it, inflating it, it now self inflates. Its kind
of weird to open the valve when it’s deflated and hear the air rush
inside it. I’m not sure how far it is supposed to inflate but it seems
to get so far and then I think it will require a couple of puffs of my
own breath to get it fully inflated. I’ll test everything this
weekend, well depending on how I’l feeling. Apart from that, nothing else to report.

all you do is open the valves, let the air in and that’s it… don’t need any puffs. They don’t get particularly firm – but comfy enough to be better than lying on the ground.

Yeah but when they are brand new they need to have the air squeezed into them to expand all the chambers for the first time. When I first opened the valve it didnt do anything, now after inflating it manually a couple of times it works as designed, self inflating to a point.
